Refund policy
ChatRail is operated by Cortex Software Services Ltd. This policy explains when a payment is refunded and how to ask for one.
Cancelling
Subscriptions are monthly and you may cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access to your numbers and message history for that time. We do not charge a cancellation fee and we do not require notice.
Refunds on a first subscription
If ChatRail is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to explain why. This applies once per workspace, to the first paid period.
Renewals
Renewal payments are not routinely refunded for time already elapsed, because the service was available throughout it. We will refund a renewal where the charge was clearly unintended — a subscription you believed was cancelled, a duplicate charge, or a plan you never used during the period. Write to us and we will look at it properly rather than apply a rule.
When we refund without being asked
- A duplicate or repeated charge for the same period.
- A charge taken after a cancellation was confirmed.
- A billing error on our side, whatever its cause.
What is not refundable
We cannot refund charges made by a third party you connected to ChatRail, and we cannot refund a period in which the service was available but you chose not to use it. A WhatsApp number becoming unavailable through action taken by WhatsApp or Meta against that number is outside our control and is not itself grounds for a refund, though we will always help you understand what happened.
How to ask
Email support@chatrail.dev from the address on the account, or from an address on the same workspace. Tell us which workspace and which charge. We aim to answer within two business days, and refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under consumer law in your own country. Where local law gives you a longer or stronger right than this policy, that law applies.
Who you are buying from
ChatRail is a product of Cortex Software Services Ltd. Payments may be processed by a third-party merchant of record acting as the seller of record, in which case their terms also apply to the transaction and your receipt will name them.
